Our Worship

The Bible instructs us who to worship and how to worship. Therefore, God is the center of our worship. The Bible teaches that the 1st Century Christians would gather together on the first day of every week to partake of the Lord’s Supper and to hear the word of God preached (Acts 20:7, 1 Corinthians 11:23-29). But that’s not all.

They would sing together (Colossians 3:16), pray together (1 Corinthians 14:15-16), and they would contribute to the work of the church as each individual had prospered (1 Corinthians 16:1-2).

Therefore, these are the things that we do as we gather together every Sunday. As we assemble, we put our whole heart into what we are doing. We do not seek to impress people. Instead, our focus is to honor and revere the Almighty God. It was Jesus who said, “But an hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for such people the Father seeks to be His worshipers. God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.” (John 4:23-24)
